Nicola Zuccalà
An Italian clarinetist, Nicola studied in Milan and Bergamo where he was unanimously awarded the first prize for clarinet. He perfected his technique with M. G. Garbarino in Sienna and Walter Boeykens in Saluzzo. He also worked with Maurice Bourgue on chamber music.
As a solist, he works with international orchestras and renowned directors such as Giulini, Lombard, Mariner, Berio…
His repertoire extends from classical to modern. He also regularly performs with the great names of Italian jazz.
He was recorded on several occasions, both for radio (RAI, Radio France) and for published records.
